THE SLED DEN

Nestled at the foot of the Chic Chocs Mountains in Haute Gaspésie, the newly built Sled Den Lodge offers a home away from home with roomy, open-concept living areas and spacious bedrooms. Each bedroom includes a loft and private bathroom. Enjoy freshly prepared breakfasts and dinners in a group setting with take-away lunches for the day's sledding.

Speaking of riding, The Sled Den guides are not limited to one zone. We ride multiple areas to ensure our guests get the best snow we have. Ride backcountry sites less visited – where locals go – from ravines to tree riding to full wide-open cuts. From carving in over-the-top powder runs, wheelies and side hilling to the more technical trees…..our backyard terrain meets the challenge. Or maybe you want to improve or sharpen your skills……let us know and benefit from our knowledge and experience. Your guide’s priorities are your safety and enjoyment in the backcountry. We’re happy to help you become a better backcountry rider.

At the end of the day’s adventure, come back to The Lodge and take advantage of our dedicated Dry Room with its custom-built system so your gear is ready for the next day. Enjoy snacks, kick back and relax before dinner while the latest pics and videos are shared on the big screen TV. Dinner, then the rest of the evening is up to you…… REPEAT

On the other hand, have you and your buddies always wanted to ride the backcountry but weren't sure how? Come ride with us! Our experienced guides are eager to pass on their knowledge and skills. From the fundamentals to getting your sled unstuck, we'll go over the theory and then you'll practice, practice, practice. While reviewing the days pics and videos, we’ll help you see the improvements you’ve made along with the details you’ll need to tweak. One thing is for sure, by the time you leave, you’ll be able to ride……the 'being able to' part, is up to you!
